Johan Ulloa

Founder | Sporting Director | Head Coach

Johan Ulloa founded Texas Nova Soccer Club with the vision of creating an affordable and development-focused environment for players in the DFW area.

With a background playing high-level youth soccer including ECNL, Classic leagues, and academy environments, Johan brings firsthand experience of the player pathway. His coaching background includes experience at established clubs before launching Texas Nova SC.

His philosophy centers around technical growth, 1v1 confidence, possession-based soccer, and helping players understand the game at a deeper level.

Stephanie Lopez

General Manager

Stephanie Lopez plays a vital role in the daily operations of Texas Nova Soccer Club. She oversees team scheduling, registrations, and helps ensure communication between the club and families runs smoothly.

As one of the main points of contact for parents, Stephanie assists with questions, team organization, and administrative needs across all teams. Her dedication, organization, and commitment help create a professional and supportive experience for every family within Texas Nova SC.

Benjamin Martinez

Head Coach

Benjamin Martinez serves as a Head Coach at Texas Nova Soccer Club, where he is committed to helping players grow through discipline, development, and a strong understanding of the game.

He currently coaches the 2018/2019 and 2017/2018 age groups, helping build strong foundations for young players through structured training and a positive competitive environment.

Benjamin plays an important role in guiding players to improve technically, build confidence, and continue progressing both on and off the field. His leadership and dedication make him a valuable part of the Texas Nova SC coaching staff.

Walker Sorto

Head Coach

Walker Sorto serves as a Head Coach at Texas Nova Soccer Club and is dedicated to helping players develop through discipline, consistency, and a positive competitive environment.

He currently coaches the 2015/2016 Girls, focusing on technical growth, confidence on the ball, and improving each player’s understanding of the game through structured training sessions.

Walker is committed to building strong habits, teamwork, and self-confidence while helping every player continue progressing on and off the field. His passion for player development makes him an important part of the Texas Nova SC coaching staff.

Saul Frias

He currently coaches the 2014/2015 Boys, helping players continue their growth through structured sessions focused on technical ability, confidence on the ball, and a stronger understanding of the game.
