Developing Players Through a Proven Methodology

Texas Nova Soccer Club was founded in 2024 with a clear vision-

to create a development-focused environment where every player has the opportunity to grow, regardless of financial background. The idea behind the club came from recognizing the flaws within the current U.S. youth soccer system, where high costs and a results-driven culture often limit true player development and push many talented players out of the game.
Founded by Johan Ulloa, Texas Nova was built to challenge that system by putting development first. Our approach focuses on technical excellence, high repetition, and creating an environment where players are encouraged to think, make decisions, and express themselves on the field. We emphasize 1v1 situations, confidence on the ball, and a deeper understanding of the game, rather than simply focusing on winning.
At its core, the club was designed to be both competitive and accessible. We believe that quality coaching and a strong development pathway should not be reserved for only those who can afford it. By keeping our structure affordable and our standards high, we aim to give every player a fair chance to reach their potential and grow within the game.
